On the Good Doctor Season 3 Episode 1, everyone is dealing with change.

Shaun goes on a date with Carly that he considers a disaster, but prefers to think about his patient: a young bride who has stage 4 metastatic cancer. Melendez doesn't think there's anything that can be done for the patient and wants Shaun to deliver the bad news to her, but Shaun has an idea for a radical surgery that may cure her.

Meanwhile, Morgan and Park's patient is an elderly man with memory loss who has to be told over and over that he has kidney cancer. Park thinks putting the man through chemo, radiation, and surgery is cruel, but Morgan thinks it's wrong not to treat a treatable cancer, and the man's wife doesn't want to lie to him about his condition.

Glassman is working in a clinic full of low-income patients, and McDougal wants him to resume his duties as hospital president, but will he? And meanwhile, Lim has a hard time figuring out what to do when the head nurse makes demands that the hospital cannot accommodate.
