Wiley goes to Diane and tells her that Kalinda faked the meta data that she submitted in court to clear Cary Agos. Diane and Kalinda confess all at Detective Prima’s internal affairs hearing. The SA’s office threatens to file charges against Diane, which would mean the demise of her career and three years in prison but they offer her a deal. They want her to testify on Lemond Bishop. Diane says she can't do it. Cary is worried that Kalinda is going to turn on Bishop instead and makes a play that he hopes will save both Diane and Kalinda.

Alicia battles accusation of voter fraud and accepts the help of the Illinois Democratic Party in the form of attorney Spencer Randolph. But when it comes out that the election was rigged, but not for Alicia but for someone else in the party, the party head asks Alicia to step down in order to stop a recount. When Alicia refuses the party has her own attorney accuse her of being the mastermind of the voter fraud in front of the Election Board. She ends up crying on Peter's shoulder.
