Dan Becker filed a lawsuit against Millman Oil, a fracking company and was then found dead on their property. Fischer and Jane investigate the case.

Becker and his friend Bryce, broke into Millman offices and stole the little black book detailing their bullying tactics, but Bryce found $100,000 in cash and stole it. When Dan threatened to return the money, they fought and Bryce killed him.

Back in San Francisco, someone breaks into Wayne and Grace's place and tries to kill them but escapes. Wayne and Grace travel to Austin to consult with the FBI on the case. 

While Wayne is out with Cho and Grace is asleep in their hotel room, a masked man breaks in to her room.
