The serial killer leaves another body and they realize that he’s also been taking a cup of blood from each of the bodies. Jane pretends to be psychic and does a media tour to get the killer’s attention. Lazarus calls in to a radio show to talk to Jane. Then he runs his truck into Jane and Agent Rick Tork’s car and abducts Jane. 

Lazarus want’s Jane to help him talk to a spirit. Jane reads Lazarus instead. When Lazarus leaves, Jane breaks out of his restraints and finds the killer’s father’s decomposed body in the next room. Jane uses information he finds to “talk” to Lazarus father for him when he returns. Lazarus believes that the voices in his head telling him to kill are his from his father. 

Wiley pushes Abbott and Cho to check out an occult shop for a connection to the blood. The proprietress gives them a link to a website calls Blackmore that deals in human blood. There was a discussion about putting blood back into a dead body so that the spirit never leaves. 

Lisbon strong arms one of the people from the website into giving up more names from the chat room about blood. They track down Joseph Keller Jr. Wiley learns that 15 years ago, Joseph Keller Sr. was a suspect in multiple murders but they didn’t have enough evidence. It appears the father was also a serial killer. 

Lisbon heads to the father’s old home. Inside, Jane set up a gas leak and when Keller goes to check on it and “talk” to his father, the gas furnace explodes. Lisbon runs up as the house is in flames, terrified. She finds Jane alive inside and tells him never to that to her again.
