The Dwight and Michael dynamic was altered, possibly forever, in this hilarious episode of The Office.

When the half-hour began, Dwight was hating on new boss Charles because the guy had the gall to ask Dwight to wear full-length sleeves, as part of the new dress code. Due to his displeasure, Dwight had no problem feeding Michael a few Dundler Mifflin secrets, and even clients. Indeed, Dwight was willing to help the Michael Scott Paper Company get off the ground.

At least for a few minutes.

Soon enough, Charles called Dwight into his office, complimented him on his work ethic and said the two of them should - gasp! - get a drink together that week and discuss how to expand Dwight's role!

This appreciation caused Dwight to see Charles in a new light. He called Michael and said - through a series of innuendos and metaphors that Michael, hysterically, could not follow until Pam and Ryan helped out - he could no longer assist Michael Scott Ltd. Stunned, Michael asked Dwight to meet him at their "spot" (i.e. the parking lot).

Once there, though, Michael was ambushed! Dwight brought along Charles, who said Michael had to leave Dundler Mifflin alone. This meeting led to an all-out war between the pair of former BFFs.

Michael, showcasing actual salesman acumen, called Harper Collins, Dwight's largest client. He taunted Dwight with the possibility that the company might leave Dundler for Michael Scott. As a response, Dwight broke into Michael's new office and stole all his supplies, including the rolodex he was using to gather together new clients.

The feud culminated when Michael called Dwight from the offices of Harper Collins and kept him on the line (in his pocket) as Michael entered a meeting with the big company's boss. Dwight could hear everything that was going on, as he got into his car and raced over to prevent the deal from taking place.

Dwight arrived, out of breath, and burst into the office of the man in charge at Harper Collins. Michael was there, getting along swimmingly with him. After Dwight tries to give a sales pitch, the boss cut in: why doesn't Dwight and Michael just send him their best offers? This was all Michael needed to hear, as he headed out, head held high. Dwight, however, tried one last trick to get on the good side of the Harper boss.

Reading from Michael's rolodex card, he asked the man how is gay son was doing. This was secret information, however, as the man looked confused and angry and Michael told the camera he color-coded his cards so he'd know which information was not meant to be revealed. Dwight didn't know this and, in the end, Michael got the best of his former employee.

In other funny storyline news: Jim pretended to be torn up over his impending wedding to Pam in order to mess with Andy. It worked. Eventually, though, Andy caught on, but Jim cut off his anger with helpful, kind advice: he and Pam are very happy; and while Andy may be hurt over what happened with Angela, he will find love again. Just trust Tuna, Andy. The man knows what he's talking about.
