Klaus returned to New Orleans to find Hayley, but he was shocked to learn that Hope was the one who orchestrated the whole thing and hid her mother in a coffin. 

But when everyone went to get her, they found out that she had actually been kidnapped. 

Roman showed up in New Orleans intent on finding out more about Hope. She told him the truth about her father and her power, and he went lurking around her house. 

Henry was taken into custody by Marcel, but someone murdered him and strung his body up in the street. 

Freya called off her relationship with Keelin because she felt like she was trying too hard to make something work and the continued drama with her family was putting a dampener on it. 

Vincent learned that Hope was the one who was going to bring one final battle to the human race and admitted that he had to do something about it. 

Also, Klaus and Freya decided it was time to find a way to get rid of the Hollow for good after Hope choked on a snake.
