Introduction

As Kay updates Cane on how many people survived and how many died, Cane (Daniel Goddard) blames himself for allowing this to happen. Later at the Crimson Lights, Lily takes Cane's hand as he again takes the blame for the collapse. Daniel spots her holding his hand.

Part One

While Victor (Eric Braeden) is on the phone, trying to reach a specialist at Johns Hopkins, J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) is inside Victoria's hospital room, urging the unconscious woman to wake. Dr. Ryan advises Victor and Nikki that there is no reason for Victoria to be in a coma.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ames suggests to Sharon that Noah may be able to go home tomorrow. Nick arrives and lets Sharon know about his sister. Nick then stops by to talk with his sister but she doesn't respond to his voice.

Part Two

Sharon worries when Noah seems to be having trouble remembering things. Before she's allowed to leave for her first day of work release, the warden advises Phyllis that she is not allowed to go to the hospital.

Daniel enters and announces that he is her driver. When Phyllis arrives at Jack's (Peter Bergman) office, he instructs her to go to the nursery to see Summer. Refusing, Phyllis explains that she can only do work related-tasks so he orders her to call Nick for an update about Noah and Victoria.

Noah's pleased when Phyllis calls but when he asks to see her, she asks Sharon to explain why she can't at this time. Kevin greets Phyllis who gives him a wood carving of a motorcycle that Jana made for him. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren stop by to see her too.

Conclusion

Sharon (Sharon Case) starts crying as her emotions take over. Jack says that Victor is a hero but Kay says he and Victor both are. Jill disagrees and vows to tell the world what Jack has done. In pain Noah starts crying out for his father. Lauren suffers a panic attack when she returns home.
