Bouchard still gets an icky taste in his mouth when he accepts money from Henry.

Jesse decides to sue Henry to get what's his.

Clara assures Jesse he did very well. After all, she saw Henry giving Lucas a wad of money.

As the library comes together, the kids get their hands on books they maybe shouldn't be reading.

Bill wants straight answers to Jesse's questions of Lucas who hedges about why he kept his investment a secret. As a gambler, he wasn't turned off at the odds, but Bill is still annoyed and doesn't act very judgerly.

All of the kids are reading The House of Usher. Allie knows where there is a real haunted house and taunts the other kids with her knowledge.

Elizabeth and Nathan reach the kids. Opal tripped and might have broken her arm, so she couldn't walk. Elizabeth makes a sling so they can get back to town.

Faith and Carson are eating dinner at the cafe. She's worried they're spending too much time together in light of the fact her father just invited them both to Thanksgiving so he can meet the man who reunited them.

Their meal is interrupted with Opal's emergency.

Fortunately, Opal just has a sprain. Nathan sticks his foot in his mouth when he blames Bouchard for Allie's rebel rousing.

Still, Elizabeth pays a visit to Bouchard to set things straight anyway. It doesn't go as she expected at all.

Frances is still listening in to the local calls when she learns Johnny Boon is outside of town. Bill deputizes himself so he can ride out with Nathan to find him given their history.

Nathan thinks he sees Johnny, but it's a wood pile with a blanket. Foiled!

The man has a smile on his face when he thinks he's getting away. it's Bruce Boxleitner!

Fiona has in mind a specific skirt and Rosemary agrees to design one for her that's similar. Fiona thinks offering different styles could mean more customers.

The three fellas ride into town with Johnny Boon handcuffed.

Faith's father suffered a heart attack.

Johnny is surprised to hear Bill is the new judge.

Allie finds the legend of Johnny Boon quite exciting. He's never hurt anyone. Nathan reminds her that stealing is hurting someone.

Elizabeth sneaks in on Rosemary dancing with Jack. It was a perfect day in which they went over the alphabet, sang some songs, and did a little artwork.

Carson and Faith say goodbye for now.

Rosemary is very wistful when smelling Jack's baby head, and she reveals to Elizabeth that she doesn't think she can have children.

Johnny wants to stick around an extra day so he can get another good meal under his belt.

Leland and Rosemary have so many plans for little Jack. She asks them to be his godparents or as they call them in Canada, guardians.

Elizabeth wonders if everything is alright with Allie and Nathan. She thinks he gets like that when criminals are in town because his father is in prison.

Elizabeth shares with Nathan that Allie knows about his father. After that, they get onto a first name basis.

Rosemary has the Fiona collection at the shop and it's selling like hotcakes.

Faith calls Carson to tell him her father is on the mend, and so is their relationship. She might stay awhile.

When Calls the Heart Season 6 Episode 7 Quotes

Lucas: I think we made quite a bit of progress.
Elizabeth: I'm so impressed by how well the children did.
Lucas: Yeah.
Elizabeth: How's your thumb?

Allie: I hope you used dowels.
Lucas: Excuse me?
Allie: Dowels. Little wood things?
Lucas: I know what dowels are.
Allie: Books are heavy. These nails will just bend.
Lucas: I think these nails will be just fine.
Allie: Suit yourself.
Lucas: But just out of curiosity, if one were interested in using dowels, how would he go about doing that?
