The Resident Trailer: A New Take on Modern Medicine

The Resident will debut on Fox in 2018, and if the first trailer is anything to go by, it's going to be a fresh and exciting take on the medical drama series.
Per the official logline:
"A tough, brilliant senior resident guides an idealistic young doctor through his first day, pulling back the curtain on what really happens — both good and bad — in modern-day medicine."
With a cast that includes the likes of Emily Vancamp, Matt Czuchry, and Manish Dayal, The Resident has a lot going for it.
The series seeks to focus on the doctors and how they make some of the toughest decisions of their lives in the hopes of making sure their patients get to live another day.
In the trailer, we got a glimpse of Solomon Bell, who is poised to be the villain of the series. We get to see him make a mistake in the operating room.
That error could cost his patient her life, so he tries to find a way to imply that he had nothing to with it. However, Conrad Hawkins is not about to let him get away with it and tries to get him to leave the hospital.
Chaos ensues, but then a new doctor named Devon appears on the scene. Despite Conrad being tough on him, it seems like they are going to become friends.
