People died all throughout Scream Queens Season 1. It was sad but, really, not too big of a deal. The killed-off characters weren't fan favorites or even part of the main cast – for the most part, they were expendable side characters.
That's why Scream Queens Season 2 Episode 3 threw all of us for such a loop.
We were all thrilled to see Chad Radwell finally make his triumphant return on Scream Queens Season 2 Episode 2. But on the latest installment "Handidates," Chad was (seemingly) killed – and it seemed like it was for real, i.e., not a Boone Clemens-style fake-out.
Join our TV Fanatics Yana, Paul, and Jay as they react to that shocking twist and more from the latest installment of Scream Queens.
Chad is dead! Reactions?
Yana: Chad isn't dead. I refuse to buy into this until we see the Green Meanie actually committing that act. Chad might have just gotten cold feet and decided he's better off faking his death than admitting he wants to leave Chanel. But the last possible explanation is death. He's one of the best parts of this show, and I refuse to believe that he's gone.
Paul: I'm with Yana. I genuinely believe that he got cold feet and faked his death. There's no way they would get rid of Chad so soon.
Jay: I hope he's dead. Chad was immensely great to look at, but his character was an obnoxious flop to me. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Boone situation, though.
How does Hester know about the Green Meanie? Or is she just lying?
Yana: Don't know and don't care. Maybe the Green Meanie is getting tips from Hester? Maybe she's part of it somehow. I just don't need her being a killer again. Hester is already too front and center. I'd rather she was lying to get into the hospital.
Paul: I think Hester knows nothing and is implying she does. That said, Munsch got the text that Chad knew who the killer was while visiting Hester. If she does know who the killer is, she could have been the one to get rid of Chad. That's if Chad is really dead. So much uncertainty.
Jay: Hester just likes to mess with these bitches, and I love it. I don't think she knows anything, it's just so she can get out of solitary because she's insanely smart.
Cassidy and Chanel #3: love it or hate it?
Yana: Surprisingly... love it. Cassidy is a very calm character. He's super chill and that dynamic mixed with Chanel #3's emotionless state is worth watching. As long as they don't push it too hard, like Tyler and Chanel #5, I'm happy.
Paul: Also loving this pairing. They are great!
Jay: Could be great, could be awful. It's kind of fun to see Cassidy, who's dead, with #3, who's dead on the inside.
Who was the MVP of the episode?
Yana: Chad Radwell. He was an absolute gem, and I already miss his craziness. Who will hang out in the shower naked now? Who will cut off random people's hands because he thinks he's a top notch surgeon? Who will propose with a pre-nup like that?
Paul: I'll go with Chad. He's a living, breathing quote machine.
Jay: Chanel #3. Her monotone demeanor gets me every time.
Best moment/quote/Chanel one-liner of the episode?
Yana: Chanel bringing a stun gun to the park, because Chad asking her to meet him to talk is such a strange concept for her.
Paul: Chad getting his bow tie done by Holt. Holt made it pretty clear he would be getting Chanel... eventually.
Jay: I'm with Yana. The stun gun.
