Amanda's family pays another visit on Law & Order: SVU Season 21 Episode 16.

After Kim overdoses in a bathroom, Amanda goes to the hospital to yell at her, but ends up taking her home and agreeing to try to get temporary custody of Kim's son. Soon, Amanda's father shows up too and Amanda lets him stay against her better judgment.

Amanda gets temporary custody of her nephew, but the house must remain drug free and Kim can't have unsupervised visits. No sooner do they get home but they find her father overdosing. Kim takes the kids out while Amanda calls 911.

Meanwhile, Kim has told Amanda that she got her drugs from a doctor who made her have sex in exchange for prescriptions. Everyone is doubtful as to whether this really happened but they investigate anyway. After the doctor is arrested, Hadid wants to investigate other doctors who may be doing this too -- but when the investigation leads to an old friend of hers, she is hesitant to believe he's done anything wrong. But Benson insists on moving forward with the investigation anyway.
