A new Sons of Anarchy teaser promises that "mayhem" is coming to Charming.

Explosive mayhem at that, as murals of Clay, Gemma and Tara explode when Jax and company ride by them, teasing some dark fates for certain characters on this intense FX drama.

Might Kurt Sutter have been referring to one of them when he told journalists at last week's Television Critics Association press tour that something especially headline-worthy takes place on the Sons of Anarchy Season 6 premiere?

"I know obviously that it would be somewhat controversial, but I feel like as much as I wouldn’t do something because it was controversial, I’m also not going to do something because it is," he previewed, adding that the scene in question is "organic" to the story and will serve as the "catalyst for the third act of this morality play."

Intriguing.
