12 Monkeys Season 1 Episode 8 Picture Preview: Spearhead

at .

Bet you're still scratching your head over the final moments of 12 Monkeys Season 1 Episode 7.

If Cole died in that compound in Chechnya and Cassie/Aaron sent his future self right back there, is the causality loop closed? Or will Jones manage to splinter him out before the bomb hits? Does Jones solve the fading power core issue on time? Tune in to find out!

Syfy released a few photos from Friday's installment. Flip through the slideshow below for a look at "Yesterday."

In my review, I mentioned how confused I was with the time travel bits last week, but after watching the episode again I understood it much better.

Not to confuse you any further, but I'm wondering if the "Yesterday" of the title refers to events in 2043 before Cole "dies" in Chechnya.

We know that Jones visits former colleagues at operation "Spearhead." What if boosting the power core not only brings Cole back safely, but supercharges the time machine enough to finally make that trip to 1987 mentioned in 12 Monkeys Season 1 Episode 1? What do you think?

Here's a sneak peek from this Friday's installment. In the clip, we learn why Whitley's father is a little cold with his son.
