Please don't get Biblical on me, Preacher Man.

Tommy

Robert: Now that we know that you're in the clear, I want to ask one more favor. It's the last one, I swear.
Owen: Sure, anything.
Robert: I was thinking that I may stay on after they leave so that we can have more time together, just the two of us.
Owen: That'll be great. I don't know if I can drive you home again. Robert: You won't have to. I don't plan on coming back. Owen: What do you mean?
Robert: I want you to help me die, Owen.

TK: I want you to know that I have zero expectations. I don't want this to be a death sentence for the both of us, ok?
Carlos: What does that mean?
TK: It means that you don't have to worry about anything, and I don't expect you to go through with the wedding.
Carlos: Why wouldn't I go through the wedding?
TK: Did you not hear everything I said, Carlos? I don't want to be your responsibility to take care of.

TK: You might be going through it alone because as it progresses, I might not remember anything. I might not remember who you are.
Carlos: Then I'll just have to introduce myself to you every day. I'll say, "Hi; you're TK. I'm Carlos, and we're soulmates."
TK: Soulmates? I never heard you say that before.
Carlos: It's true.
TK: how long have you thought that?
Carlos: Since the first night I took you home.
TK: Me too. What?
Carlos: you're such a liar. You couldn't get out of there fast enough.
TK: Well, why do you think I ran?
Carlos: Well, I'm not running TK. I'm right here, no matter what, baby.

Judd: Let me put it this way, then. What I would like is for me to have some confidence that my goddaughters' mama is gonna make it home to them, especially since they just lost their daddy.
Tommy: You know what? You don't get to play that card with me.

Dad, I can't marry Carlos knowing that I have a death sentence hanging over my head.

TK

Judd: Do I have to remind you that you have Charlie now? Why would you risk doing that?
Grace: Because I have Charlie, sweetheart. If Lexie was a cute white girl, she would be plastered all over the news right now. But just like so many other Black and Brown women, Lexie has not only been victimized, she has been forgotten about, and she has been blamed. Women who look just like Charlie will one day; that's why I'm doing this.
Judd: I can appreciate that, I don't think the answer is to use your own life as bait.
Grace: So the answer is what then, sweetheart? When there are so many people in the system who don't care?
Judd: Find the people who do.

Judd: Detective, let me just say something to you real quick. The next time my wife tells you something, you better listen to her.
McGregor: I'm starting to see that.
Judd: Well, don't just start.

Judd: Y'all did good work.
Paul: Welp, at least the fire's out...
Judd: You had to say it, didn't ya?

You're going to be in a room full of Strands; odds are, you aren't going to be the only one with a shiner.

Judd

Robert: Huntington's a beast; Owen, it's a hereditary condition.
Owen: You're telling me that our dad left us something more than keepsakes.
Robert: The disease runs in his family, our family. Usually shows up north of 50, sometimes later, sometimes earlier.
Owen: But he didn't die from it.
Robert: No, but he had it; he just died before it could kill him.

I thought I was going to die, but your voice kept me alive.

9-1-1: Lone Star Quotes

Owen: Well, I'm flattered, but if you're gonna put diversity first, shouldn't you hire somebody who's, you know, diverse?
Radford: We need somebody like you. We need somebody who truly understands how much rebuilding this house is gonna heal the community.

Doctor: You were at Ground Zero when the buildings came down, yes?
Owen: [nods] Yeah.
Doctor: Then I don't have to tell you by the 20th anniversary of 9/11, more survivors who were there that day and during the cleanup will get sick or die than people killed on 9/11 itself.
Owen: This is going to kill me, isn't it?
