Dean second-guesses his fight against the Seattle Police Department after Battalion Chief Gregory suggests Dean drop the issue.

Gregory sticks around when Station 19 gets called to an emergency, wanting to avoid another lawsuit.

After the call, Gregory tells Sullivan the former battalion chief could be promoted to lieutenant in exchange for convincing Dean to drop his suit.

Sullivan confides in Andy about his plan, but Andy is upset, believing Sullivan is using her and their marriage as an excuse.

Travis's parents come to get COVID-19 tests, and Travis encourages his father Paul to come out of the closet.

Travis also contemplates asking Emmett out.

Carina's visa is expiring in a month, and she has to return to Italy.

Maya isn't sure what she should do and remains conflicted as Carina tells Maya she will be going back to Italy, as it's where she needs to be right now. 

Maya then decides to accompany Carina.

Marsha's son decides to take her off the vent, and Jack, Inara, and Marcus wait for her to pass.

Marcus gets angry, and Jack tells him it's OK to feel those emotions.

However, at the end of the episode, Marsha regains consciousness and everyone celebrates.
