- Maya obsessivel cleans the house while Jack shaves and prepares for his first day back as lietutenant at the staion.
- The others play a prank on him while welcoming him back.
- Diane shows up
- Dixon meets with Ross because the Feds are talking about investigating them for a rights violation and wants fire and police to stand together for a press conference. He mentions that they leaked his wife's information and she's talking about a lawsuit.
- They get a call in Theo's old neighborhood.
- Diane makes Maya talk about the first time she felt like she had to win and she puts together a timeline. Maya starts expressing herself and breakds down sobbing.
- Theo continues tobond with the family they save during a fire, but they have nothing and the housing was poor.
- The mother and father want their family Bible and the mom runs in to get it. Theo goes in after her and the little girl runs in too, so Travis follows her.
- Something happens inside and Vic is terrified that she lost Theo and Travis.
- They rescue the people inside, get the bible, and people in the neighborhood thank Trevor.
- Dixon approaches Ross again wanting her to endorse him at the press conference.
- Diane and Maya continue making grounds in therapy as Maya gets emotina.
- Diane tells her how brave she is and Maya ends up apologizing to her three year old self and tell her that it's okay if she doesn't win.
- Maya tells Diane that she wants to call Carina but Diane suggets that she take care of and work on herself first and should rest.
- Maya is ready to take Diane's advice and keep up with therapy.
- Beckett benches Theo.
- Warrent checks in with Vic to see if she wants to talk after the scary call.
- Vic breaks down to Theo and talks about how triggered she was that they almost died and hugs him and Travis.
- Ross gives her speech commending Crisis One, calling out the injustice, and inviting cops to get better training.
- Andy talks to Beckett. She wants him to figure out his style and lead but he goes off on her and says he may as well be the monster they think he is and kicks her out before he starts drinking again.
- Sullivan checks on Ross.
- Maya happily gets some sleep hugging the representation fo her inner chidl.
