The series follows Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire as they try to get away from the villainous Count Olaf who is trying to get his hands on their family fortune.

As expected, Count Olaf is very present in the teaser, and he is the one who introduces us to the teaser which finds the orphans in a whole host of precarious situations.

A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 1 was a real hoot and was everything the failed movie iteration of the book series should have been.

When we left the characters, they had made their way to Prufrock Preparatory School. If you're a fan of the book series, you will know that it's the setting for Book Five: The Austere Academy.

Season 2 of the series will feature ten episodes and will be based on book five through nine. Season 3 has already been ordered and will adapt the remaining four books.

It's unclear at this stage whether the series will continue beyond the conclusion of the books, or if it will tie everything up in a neat bow.
