Kelly Ripa is headed to Riverdale.

The popular actress took to Instagram to confirm she will appear on The CW soap oppositive her real-life husband, Mark Consuelos.

"It’s a family affair. Hiram’s mistress. 23 years of auditioning for a role I was born to play,” Ripa shared with her 2.1 million followers, alongside the following image:

While Ripa never divulged any further details on her character Us Weekly confirmed that she would be playing Mrs. Mulwray, who is “a beautiful, icy femme fatale who gets caught up in a conspiracy that’s much bigger than she initially realized.”

If you watch Riverdale online, you know that Hiram Lodge is the type of man to keep a lot of secrets. From murders to robberies, he doesn't give a damn who he crosses.

But something tells us if Mrs. Mulwray is seriously the villain's mistress, Hiram's wife, Hermione will find a way to get her own back.

Could we be in for a catfight, or will it be something a bit more subdued? We have no clue.

There's also the possibility that Mrs. Mulwray will be just another casualty for the Lodges as they continue their plans to take over everything in the town of Riverdale.

Riverdale Season 3 Episode 4, which airs tonight on The CW also features an appearance from Michael Consuelos aka Kelly and Mark's son.

Michael will be playing the teenage version of Hiram on an episode that is set in the 1990s.

"The Midnight Club" will feature the young cast taking on the roles of their on-screen parents in the special installment which will shed light on Riverdale Season 3's big mystery.
