On Chicago Med Season 6 Episode 1, hospital staff must deal with COVID-19 as well as their other patients.

Sharon orders the staff to have some sessions with Dr. Charles. Will is the first up, and the thing on his mind is that Hannah has overdosed. At first, he tells Dr. Charles that things are great between him and Hannah, but later he admits they aren't so great. He's been walking on eggshells and waiting for her to OD. Also, he thinks maybe she used because they had a fight the day before.

Meanwhile, he has to deal with a patient who appears to be drunk even though she claims to have never touched alcohol in her life. She is an FAA pilot, so if Will reports her apparent intoxication she will lose her career. Will has his doubts, but after the patient acts out he concludes she has a drinking problem. However, he wants to do more research to be sure.

Meanwhile, Nat and Marcel deal with a young cancer patient who has heart failure for non-COVID related reasons, while April works on the COVID ward and is upset when Lanic won't allow a patient to have the life support he needs to survive.
